How to Register
In Wisconsin, you can register online up to a week before the election, or register in person with the clerk on the day of the election. REGISTER EARLY to avoid any paperwork issues.

Voting Early
You do not need a reason to vote absentee, and you can cast your absentee vote in person in the two weeks preceding an election. In rural townships, this is tricky as most clerks do not have a dedicated office or office hours. You may need to PHONE your clerk to arrange an appointment.

Congressional District WI-03
Grant County Indivisible DOES NOT support Mr. Van Orden for re-election due to his positions, lack of constituent accountability, abusive behavior and unquestioning support for President Trump.
This House of Representatives seat is currently held by Derrick Van Orden. The district covers the southwest area of the state up past Eau Claire. Mr. Van Orden has held ZERO town halls, supported cuts to SNAP, Medicaid and the ACA, and supports without question all actions of President Trump.
Please vote for Democrat Rebecca Cooke to help flip the House of Representatives and hold Trump accountable for his actions.

Ballot Measures
Ballot referenda for 2026 are placed on the ballot by the WI Legislature. They must be read VERY CAREFULLY and understood as they are often written in misleading ways. Details below. Refer also to this January News Article from WPR.
Prohibit Government Discrimination or Preferential Treatment (NO)
- This is an anti-DEI measure that would be added to the Wisconsin Constitution. It would prohibit any governmental entity from discriminating or granting preferential treatment based on race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in public employment, public education, public contracting, or public administration. It sounds good, but this would upend programs that benefit minority, female, and veteran-owned contract set-asides, kill affirmative action initiatives, prohibit grants for programs that serve disadvantaged categories, and eliminate programs that focus on preventing discrimination.

- RECOMMENDATION: Vote NO, this is a cynical measure that will harm already disadvantaged communities.
Prohibit Partial Veto to Increase Tax or Fee (YES)
- This would ban Wisconsin governors from using their powerful partial veto to create or increase any tax or fee. Its a response to a creative edit that Evers made to change what was supposed to be a two-year increase in school revenue limits into a 400-year increase, a move that was upheld by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

- Recommendation: Vote YES. While we applaud the creativity, it could be used to harm also.
Prohibit Government Closure of Places of Worship During Emergencies (NO)
- The ballot measure would amend Section 18 of Article I of the Wisconsin Constitution. It is a reaction to the Governor’s pandemic order banning nonessential gatherings. Churches and worship spaces were not deemed essential (and there was concern that they would spread the virus).

- RECOMMENDATION: Vote NO to allow the state flexibility during extreme emergencies.

David Crowley (DEM) and Tom Tiffany (GOP) are running for Wisconsin Governor. Grant County Indivisible DOES NOT support Tom Tiffany for Governor due to his actions and positions on healthcare, immigration, data centers, reproductive rights, school funding and his support for authoritarian actions taken by the Trump administration.

WI State Senate – District 17

WI Assembly – District 49
